Arlenis Morel

Arlenis Morel started at Make the Road New York as a part-time receptionist in the Bushwick office, after her mother, a founding member, introduced her to the organization. Soaking up every opportunity to learn, she worked her way up to become director of operations, and then chief of staff, where she oversaw the expansion of our Admin and HR departments, the overhaul of the organization’s database infrastructure, and the development and execution of our strategic plan. Arlenis immigrated to the U.S. from Venezuela as a teenager with her mother.
