Make the Road States
We are a national organization working alongside our local Make the Roads.
We work to build the power of immigrant and working-class communities of color to achieve dignity and justice. Currently composed of five organizations—Make the Road Connecticut, Make the Road Nevada, Make the Road New Jersey, Make the Road New York and Make the Road Pennsylvania—Make the Road States is an organizing powerhouse that has won key campaigns for immigrant and working-class communities of color.
Make the Road States provides national campaign leadership and communications and infrastructure support to elevate the voices of our largely immigrant and working-class members nationally.
What We Do
Support our communities currently facing mass deportations, an end to birthright citizenship, rolling back the rights of trans youth, and attacks on our democratic process.
