Alejandra “Ale” Gomez Zapata

National Civic Engagement Coordinator

About Me:

Education & Training

Ale is an accomplished organizer, fighting for immigrant and LGBTQ+ rights, as well as racial and economic justice. Inspired to start campaign work in order to elect more women to office, Ale got her start campaigning in their home state of Pennsylvania. Ale continued that passion and moved to Iowa to work for Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign.

Since then, Ale has worked in several key battleground states, empowering communities to grow their political engagement and turn out to vote. Ale is dedicated to connecting with BIPOC communities and organizing to pass much needed policy solutions to improve the lives of working class families.
